The Playroom is mommy owned and operated by Daniela Ferrari. Daniela bought The Playroom in February and re-opened in March 2010. She brings a ton of experience and passion to her new role as owner of The Playroom.

Born and raised in Rome, Italy, Daniela has called Reno/Tahoe home for the last 15 years.  She has worked with children in various settings for the past 20 years.  Some of her experience includes being the "Rosebuds" (Mt. Rose children's ski school) Director for 6 years; assisting in directing the Brookfield School preschool for the last 3 years and she currently owns a successful child care center in Incline.  She is  very involved in the local early childhood association and committed to continuing to develop fantastic programs for young children. She has also taken many graduate and continuing education classes in child development and is always looking to learn more. When talking about her work with kids, Daniela stated, "I absolutely love working with children…it's always been my love, my life, my passion!"

Considering all she has done, Daniela says her greatest achievement is being the Mother of 3 absolutely fantastic little girls that inspire her and motivate her on a daily basis. Her  girls are very excited that they get to be at The Playroom all the time. Daniela's baby even has her pack & play set up in the office so she can go to work with mom!

Daniela was a customer of The Playroom prior to buying it. She has always loved The Playroom and is very excited to be able to continue to offer it to the community.
